a recognized, non-government charitable organization in Israel devoted to helpin West Bank Palestinian families obtain medical assistance in Israeli hospitals.

who was nominated for the John Humphrey Freedom Award in 2006.

The founder and Executive Director of Humans Without Borders devotes all her time and energy to the organization.
Indeed Gamila, as she is known to her colleagues, is a household name throughout the Palestinian territories and in Israel’s Peace Movement. Currently Humans Without Borders has about 120 active members – or angels, as Gamila refers to them – and eight different groups working at hospitals around Israel.


Humans without Borders
coordinates requests for individual entry permits from the Israeli Civil Administration and volunteers provide transport from border check-points, escorting Palestinian families to and from the designated hospitals in Israel.
